Joey Laviolette Wins Main Boxing Event

Prince George-     Canadian champion Joey Laviolette of Nova Scotia beat local
fighter Kenny Lally of Inner city by a decision in the 119 pound (57 kg) main event at the Emerald
Gloves Championships before roughly 1,000 fans at the Northern Sport Centre.
Laviolette seemed to narrowly lose the first round but came back to win the second and third to beat
Lally for the second time this year.
  

Jag Seehra of Inner City won the semi main by decision over David Funk of Maple Ridge (64 kg).
