Price of Crude Driving Up Cost of Vacations
Prince George, B.C. – Vacations to southern destinations are about to get more expensive.
With the price of a barrel of crude oil in the $110. 00 range, airlines are taking a hit.
Air Transat is announcing a boost to the fuel surcharge on its southern destinations.
As of Monday, the surcharge for a round trip flight to a southern destination (international ) flight will be increased by another $20 dollars making the fuel surchare part of your Air Transat package $120 dollars per round trip.
