Queen of the North Navigation Officer Charged

Victoria, B.C. – Karl Lilgert, the navigational officer who was on the bridge the night the Queen of the North ferry ran into Gil Island and sank four years ago, has been charged with negligence causing death.   All but two of the passengers and crew on the ferry were accounted for.
