Letter to Editor , Accenture Sets Record StraightBy 250 News Wednesday, May 14, 2008 09:31 AM Re: Letter to the editor published in Opinion250 on Tuesday. May 13, 2008 titled “The Written Word” by Rafe Mair. Accenture is seeking to correct the record regarding the comment pertaining to Accenture’s history and association with Enron.
The intent of this letter is to present the factual history of the company and avoid a future occurrence of misrepresentation. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or require further information. Thank you, Charmaine D'Silva Manager, Media & Analyst Relations Accenture Canada Previous Story - Next Story CommentsWow, nice handle. Manager, Media & Analyst Relations. Could that be better known as a spin doctor or the old phrase of "flack man"? Hey, I'm a semi retired part time domestic engineer with follicle regression. Ha, ha, my title is longer than yours. Keep up the good work. Us peasants have got to be put in line every once in awhile. Once looked like a rat, once smelled like a rat....... Still American owned and have huge accounts in overseas banks. Nothing that supports Canadians. They are another part of BCH privitization. Does anyone know that the people that come around in BCH vehicles and wear BCH clothes to read your meter are not BCH employees at all but Accenture employees? BCH says they can't use vehicles with their logo on them because no one will know who Accenture is. Weird huh? Soon the meters will be the kind that can be read remotely and then no one will have to come around anymore! I think Accenture outsources to India .... that is also where the metres will be read. ;-) I was under the understanding that Accenture was started by board members and managers at Arthur Anderson as a separate legal entity. Kind of like what Canfor did with its pulp trust. Is it any wonder when Arthur Anderson was involved in the kind of fraud that was going on with the likes of Enron (power),as well as the datacom industry. The Enron model for rate manipulation is no different then the 'run of the river' model of BC Hydro IMO. hmmm...if the meter guy doesn't come around anymore, what will my dog eat? Chasing the meterman is the only time he gets any exercise! |
