Benson in Pursuit at World Winter University Games

UNBC student Jacqui Benson competed in her fourth of five cross country ski events at the World Winter University Games in Italy. Benson of Prince George finished 40^th out of 56 who completed the Ladies Pursuit 5K classic/5K freestyle race. The top Canadian, Alysson Marshall of Salmon Arm, finished 31^st. Justyna Kowalczyk of Poland raced to her third gold medal in the Nordic ski events. The final cross country ski race of the 2007 World Winter University Games is the freestyle mass start on Friday.
