Prince George, B.C.- The young man charged with four murders in the Prince George area, will be appearing in court October 31st.

That is the date for an appearance by the accused, 21 year old Cody Alan Legebokoff, in the murder of 15 year old Loren Donn Leslie of Fraser Lake.   That matter has been going through the court process and has been moved to Supreme Court and is proceeding on the basis of direct indictment.

Legebokoff  will appear in court again  on November 2nd  on the three  additional murder charges. He is charged with the first degree murder of 35 year old Jill Stacey Stuchenko in October of 2009, 35 year old Cynthia Frances Maas in October of 2010 and 23 year old Natasha Lynn Montgomery who has not been seen since August of 2010, her remains have not been found.

Regional Crown Counsel, Neil MacKenzie says it is too early to say if all four counts will be tried at once.

RCMP are continuing their investigation and have set up a special tip line for anyone with any information in these cases, the victims or the accused.  That tip line number is  1-877-987-8477.

RCMP Inspector Branden Fitzpatrick says Legebokoff was not known to them, that in his past he had had only “minor contact” with police.  Inspector Fitzpatrick also says there is nothing to link this investigation with any of the disappearances or murders being investigated as part of the Highway of Tears “E-Pana” investigation.

I think if they have sufficient evidence to link him to three other murders as well, that is a huge step in making this area a lot safer. Thank you RCMP for all your painstaking work.

I don't think the general public really knows all the work involved to gather evidence and have it presentable to court and all the restrictions they have to work under. Its almost rediculous, so yes, thank you very much.
Have they investigated this guy regarding Madison Scott I wonder..
I believe he was in jail at the time Madison Scott went missing.
Ah... ok, guess he has an alibi for that. I sure hope something breaks on the Scott girl....
Give more,

In the article, it says, "is proceeding on the basis of direct indictment."

Looks like there will be no preliminary hearing, and on that note, very solid evidence the Crown has.
well said Yoda :D

Thankfully this guy is off the streets and I agree, it sounds like some pretty solid evidence. The one murder charge still has no remains found.
I thought this site was so you put out your opinion. I am very disappointed that you seen fit to remove my comment. I would like to know why? There was nothing offensive said in my comment, it was the truth. What Opinion 250 do you not like to hear the truth? I may think very hard before I spend any further time on this site. Very disappointed in you.
